  1. List four shorebirds that stop over in the Delaware Bay area.
  2. Include a color sketch of each of the four birds.

    Using 8 ½’’ x 11’’ paper, draw a map to show their complete migration path.

    Include a scale of miles.

    Label important areas on your map.

  3. Why is the Delaware Bay so important for these migrating birds?
  4. Explain why the birds stop at that particular time.

  5. Explain the impact of declining horseshoe crab populations on migrating birds.

If this decline continues, how will the bird population be affected in the future.
