Teacher Reference Page
The design of this WebQuest is such that the initial background information students need is to be taught by the teacher, rather than incorporated into the actual WebQuest. This should take approximately one classroom period. Web sites are provided for the teacher.

The WebQuest is designed for 5 members per Research Pod (group). There are six special interest group roles, to allow the teacher flexibility depending on class size and ability levels.
Several TASK projects are also included. The teacher needs to assign the TASK based on ability and age levels of the class. There should be only one TASK project assigned for the entire class.
When writing newly generated questions into their Journals (see Process page for details), students need not worry about finding the answers. This is simply the place to write down any questions that might occur during the research time. These questions might serve as Extension Activities at the end of the WebQuest, at the discretion of the teacher.
The teacher needs to decide on a way for students to keep and organize their information. Once the research begins students, will have notes from many different sources. We suggest the use of 1 inch vinyl binders with front and back pockets.
Everyone must participate/contribute in the development of the final TASK project.
Teacher will use this rubric to evaluate student WebQuest Project.
